Effective July 1, 2024: The campground, cabins and marina remain closed for overnight accommodations at Hontoon Island State Park. Ferry service to the island is offered from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. at the top of each hour. At 6 p.m., the last ferry leaves the island. For additional information, please contact the ranger station.
Hours
- The park is open from 8 a.m. until one hour before sunset, 365 days a year.
Fees
Admission
- No entrance fee is required to enter this park.
- Primitive campsite: $18 per night plus tax.
- Boat campsite: $18 per night plus a nonrefundable $6.70 reservation fee and a $7 nightly utility fee. Includes water and electric hookups.
Cabins
- Primitive cabin, up to four people: $30 per night plus tax, plus a nonrefundable $6.70 reservation fee and a $7 nightly utility fee.
- Primitive cabin, up to six people: $35 per night plus tax, plus a nonrefundable $6.70 reservation fee and a $7 nightly utility fee.
