Terry Wilson

Constitution Museum State Park

Terry Wilson has always had a love of the great outdoors and holds a special fondness for all that Florida has to offer.  He and his wife love to travel and have so many wonderful experiences to talk about.

Living in Georgia for many years, Terry enjoyed careers in both law enforcement and new car sales. He also managed to squeeze in some time as the Vice President of the Atlanta International Raceway. After retirement he spent most of his free time volunteering with many civic organizations as well as the National Park Service and making frequent visits to Florida.

He and his wife Hazel became permanent Florida residents about three years ago and now call “The Forgotten Coast” home. Immediately he began giving back to his new community. The Chamber of Commerce, the historic Port Theater, many special events, and the Florida Park Service are all advantaged by the skills he brings as a volunteer.

Since he helped maintain the expansive Chattahoochee River National recreation area for several years (mostly by bike), helping to keep the 14-acre Constitution Convention Museum grounds looking great is a task he handles with ease.  He spends a lot of time learning about the local history, so he is a very knowledgeable docent as well.  Stop by for a visit, show Terry how much he is appreciated, and help keep his awesome people skills finely honed!
