Roslyn Errickson

Crystal River Archaeological State Park

After volunteer Roslyn Errickson retired from her 37-year teaching career, she and her husband moved from New Jersey to Crystal River, Florida. They chose Crystal River because of “its natural beauty and ample opportunities to enjoy the nature of the area,” and so far they haven't been disappointed! Roslyn enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, biking, bird watching, fishing, boating or simply taking a stroll.

Roslyn has an affinity for education and genuine interest in people, making volunteering as a museum docent at Crystal River Archaeological State Park a natural fit. She especially enjoys “meeting people from all over the world and hearing their marvelous stories.”

So the next time you are in the Crystal River area, drop in on the museum and hear our fascinating history, and maybe share your own story with Roslyn.
