Mark Rominger

Natural Bridge Battlefield Historic State Park

Mark is past president of the Battle of Natural Bridge Historical Society, the Citizen Support Organization for Natural Bridge Historic State Park. He grew up in the lower Midwest and developed a love for history, especially the War Between the States and the Revolutionary War.

Natural Bridge is the site of the second largest Civil War battle in the state of Florida. Natural Bridge Battlefield Historic State Park hosts a yearly reenactment of the battle, providing Mark and other reenactors the opportunity to participate in this unique historical experience.

Mark likes the unspoiled beauty of the park and enjoys interacting with visitors. After so many years of involvement, he has found that volunteering is an excellent opportunity to support Florida State Parks and to educate visitors about preserving the natural and historic resources of Florida, as well as contributing to an appreciation of our state parks.
