Park Ranger, Tom Redsecker

North Peninsula State Park

Tom spends time maintaining the scenic overlook on A1A at the corner of Highbridge Road, along with the protected dunes and beach of this fabulous and free oceanfront park access point. Tom is a member of the sea turtle survey program, which counts and monitors all sea turtles laying nests on our beaches.

As a recent graduate of the 86th Ranger Academy, Tom believes in and supports our mission of preserving, protecting and restoring natural and cultural resources while ensuring recreation-based resources are clean and safe for all to use. This includes maintaining our trails system, preparation of fire line breaks and being available to answer questions for park visitors and guests.
