Val and Vickie are the recipients of the 2023 Volunteer Award for a Team of Two in Maintenance.
Val German and Vickie Hood have been dedicated volunteers at John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park since November 2021, contributing over 4,000 hours each. Their expertise in maintenance and resource management has greatly benefited the park, saving costs and ensuring safety. They are valued mentors and ambassadors for the Florida Park Service.
