Ron is a passionate volunteer at Caladesi Island State Park.
Ron Van Atta is a Florida native and retired from the State of Florida as a Systems Analyst/Cyber Security Analyst.
When he is not volunteering in the Ranger Station or out in the field at Caladesi Island, Ron enjoys fishing for redfish, trout, and king mackerel and working on his property.
Ron volunteers every Tuesday and is a real asset to our team at Caladesi Island. He encourages everyone to get out and enjoy the Real Florida.
