Charlotte Lebedeker
Charlotte is the recipient of the 2023 Award for a Youth Volunteer in Visitor Services.
Charlotte Lebedeker, a dedicated youth volunteer at John D. MacArthur Beach State Park since 2019, has contributed over 110 hours of service. She excels in roles such as Counselor-in-Training, Junior Friends member, and event planner, showcasing her enthusiasm, creativity, and love for the environment. Charlotte is a valuable asset to the park and its programs.

This group is the recipient of the 2023 Volunteer Award for Best Local Business Partner.
Florida Power and Light and John D. MacArthur Beach State Park have enjoyed a fruitful partnership for over a decade. Florida Power and Light's Environmental Services Division has been integral, organizing regular cleanups, funding educational programs and even providing an ADA tram. Their commitment and resources greatly benefit the park's preservation efforts.
