Nature Explorers!
Second Saturday of Each Month, 10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
Join us on the second Saturday of each month for our Nature Explorers Program! These programs are geared towards children ages 5 - 14 years but all ages are welcome. Topics vary and will include indoor and outdoor activities.
Scrub Jay Walk (October-May)
1st and 3rd Wednesday, 9 a.m. - 10 a.m.
This guided leisurely walk through the sand pine scrub is a great opportunity to learn about and view Florida scrub-jays. These birds found only in Florida, specifically in the scrub community, are not common and a special treat to see!
Guided Nature Walk
Fridays, 2 p.m. - 3 p.m.
Join us for a leisurely stroll through the scrubby flatwoods and river floodplain. Osprey, pileated woodpeckers and barred owls are some of the wildlife that can be seen. The walk may go through muddy or wet terrain.
Programs are subject to change and may be canceled due to weather or other conditions.
