Primitive & Equestrian Camping at St. Sebastian

St. Sebastian River Preserve - Primitive Camping

Primitive Camping

Take a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and reserve one of our nine primitive, hike-in, tent-only camping sites. Be a guest in our wilderness preserve, and watch twilight skies turn into star-filled nights and wake up to the chorus of bird chatter. Enjoy the peacefulness and nature's soundtrack for the weekend.

For groups that enjoy an adventurous 6-mile hike before setting up a tent, Eagle Camp is the place to be!

Eagle Camp is situated on the northern part of the Red Trail. Campers park at the trail head for the Red Trail off County Road 512 and hike to the site. Beautiful fields of blazing star flowers can be seen along the hike with plenty of Florida scrub-jays hiding their dinner in the sand.

For a shorter hike into a campsite from 100 yards to one mile, reserve a site at Ranch, Tree Frog, Pine and Mullet camps. All campsites can access our trail systems.
