I have the privilege of managing Faver-Dykes State Park, a hidden gem in St. Johns County.
Faver-Dykes has it all, from canoeing and fishing to hiking and camping. I have been lucky enough to watch Faver-Dykes grow and change over the years to become the wonderful park it is today. One of my favorite things to do at Faver-Dykes is watch the magnificent sunsets on Pellicer Creek. With the backdrop of old Florida and the diversity of both flora and fauna, it is a naturalist's dream.
Tucked back in off U.S.1 and just off I-95, Faver-Dykes is the perfect spot to get away from our busy schedules and just enjoy the beauty and quiet of a natural space.
I do hope you will take time our of your busy schedule to visit us at Faver-Dykes State Park. Trust me, you will not want to miss those sunsets!
