Econfina River State Park boasts recreational opportunities for all outdoor enthusiasts. More than 4,500 acres of coastal ecosystems provide valuable habitat for numerous plant and animal species.

One of the main attractions of Econfina River State Park is the boat ramp, where boaters can access the Gulf of Mexico. It is here you will find a coastal angler’s paradise. Species such as red drum, spotted sea trout and flounder can all be just a cast away.

I enjoy the 14 miles of shared-use trails where you can see abundant wildlife, including alligators, black bear, white-tailed deer, ospreys and herons.

Whether you’re interested in hiking, birding, boating or picnicking, Econfina River State Park has something for everyone.

The opportunity to immerse yourself in unspoiled Florida coastline, just like many generations before, makes this park an excellent place for family and friends to experience the outdoors.

I look forward to seeing you in the park!
