Manager's Message Seabranch Preserve State Park

Christopher Camargo, Park Manager

Our refurbished butterfly garden is a great place for a picnic lunch or just to unwind. Enjoy a hike on one of our nature trails and see the birds of the nesting season. Bikers can ride the East Coast Greenway multi-use trail and see summer flowers in bloom. The 10-foot-wide concrete path meanders through the park where you can notice the ecosystem changes as the rare and endemic sand pine scrub opens up to scrubby flatwoods and transitions down to the mesic flatwoods. Keep your eyes and ears peeled for a red-tailed hawk, bald eagle or elusive bobcat. The trail is ideal for bicycling, in-line skating and walking.

With over 6 miles of hiking trails, this is a great place to “get a little park on ‘ya.”

Don’t forget your water bottle, and please remember to keep your pet on a 6-foot handheld leash for their safety and the enjoyment of others. We look forward to seeing you at Seabranch Preserve State Park as you get outside and enjoy ...the Real Florida.
