Freedom Month Sales Tax Holiday

July is Freedom Month in Florida.

The Freedom Month Sales Tax Holiday, which runs throughout the month of July, will provide extra savings on season-related items and activities such as sporting events, outdoor equipment, entertainment and cultural events.

Signed into law by Governor DeSantis, the Freedom Month sales tax exemption applies to the following purchases at Florida State Parks:

  • All day-use admission.
  • All admission to state park museums.
  • All Individual and Family Annual Entrance Passes.

Florida’s state parks offer a variety of activities and settings for your summer adventures. The Freedom Month Sales Tax Holiday gives you a chance to dip your toes in a new activity you have been waiting to try. Most of Florida's state parks are open from 8 a.m. to sunset every day of the year. Check the park's webpage for specific information to plan your visit and we’ll see you out there!

Freedom Month is also a great opportunity to purchase a Florida State Parks Annual Entry Pass. To save time, create an account and purchase your annual passes online at Reserve.FloridaStateParks.org. Passes can also be purchased at staffed ranger stations.
