Fishing at Bald Point

Bald Point State Park offers three access points to wonderful beaches where you can experience mostly calm and sun warmed water. The beach is not only the perfect place to put in an umbrella for sunbathing, it is great for popular and fun activities like swimming, fishing, shell hunting and kite flying too.

Keep in mind that pets are not permitted on the beach but are welcome in other areas of the park as long as they are leashed. 

Mobi Mat at Bald Point

The beaches are accessible for wheelchairs and strollers via use of a mobi-mat. A beach wheelchair is also available to reserve by calling the park office. 

Restrooms and outdoor showers are also available so you can comfortably spend your day.

Also enjoy one of the simple pleasures of life by having meals under one of the pavilions provided near the beach. Bald Point State Park has picnic pavilions with tables and grills available at each of the beach access points. There are two each at Maritime Hammock and the North End, and one at Sunrise Beach. These pavilions are not reservable but can be rented in advance through the park for special events, such as family reunions and birthday parties.
