Jim Murphy, Resident Camp Host

Faver-Dykes State Park

Jim Murphy started out as an avid camper who enjoyed fishing on the creek. The more Jim camped the more he enjoyed the company of the fellow campers as well as the staff.

Jim is an extremely hard worker and knowledgeable about the park and the resources. When you ask Jim why he is a camp host he says “ I enjoy seeing the campers and families having a good time.”

The staff and campers greatly benefit by having Jim camp hosting at Faver-Dykes State Park.
