Assistant Park Manager, Cody Nolan

Blue Spring State Park

Cody Nolan grew up in Port St. Lucie, Florida. After four years in the Army, he decided to seek a career with the Florida State Park Service. He became a Park Ranger because of his interest in resource management and his love for the great outdoors.

Cody served as a Park Ranger at Werner-Boyce Salt Springs State Park for three years before coming to Blue Spring State Park as our Assistant Park Manager. His favorite part of working at Blue Spring is that there is always something to do and there is never a dull moment.

One of his favorite times of the year is during our two-week long Lights at Night Firefly program. This is when we have thousands of after-hours park visitors for the spectacular firefly display. He is proud to work in a park that is the winter home for over 500 manatees. Cody can often be found sharing stories and educating our visitors on the importance of preserving our natural and cultural resources.
