A nonprofit established in 2012, the friends group raises funds to support projects and employees at Gamble Rogers and North Peninsula State Park. The volunteers were essential to a marsh restoration project and continue to work on an oyster program, removing exotic plants, enhancing visitor experiences with kayak tours, educating the public, supporting the volunteer program and more.
