Volunteer Peyton Kerry

Peyton Kerry

Indian Key Historic State Park

As a Key Largo native, Peyton Kerry grew up surrounded by the beauty of the Florida Keys and aspires to protect its ecosystems. In her free time, she’s an avid free diver and enjoys exploring the endless, diverse possibilities that the Keys have to offer on the water.

A graduate of Coral Shores High School, she is pursuing a degree in forestry at Miami Dade College and plans to transfer to the University of Florida. Peyton is interested in working in conservation for the park service after graduating college.

Working as a resource management volunteer for the Islamorada Area State Parks has been a great learning experience for Peyton. She's always happy to help out wherever needed, and she often assists in buoy work and trail maintenance. Peyton considers it a great way to give back to the community and looks forward to doing more.
