My now ten yr. old son said, "It was the best vacation that he had ever had." We are planning on going back in 2004 and staying longer. If you’re looking for a clean, beautiful park, you need to visit "Topsail Hill RV Resort." The beach is a short bike ride with the trail being paved. I can promise you, that you’ll want to return! The beach is very private and real pristine. I just wish it was closer to NC."

- Lexington, NC - "My daughter, wife, mother, neice and I just spent a full week at Topsail Hill. Probably the best camping vacation I’ve ever had. All of us had a great time. All of the park was clean and the grounds were kept like a golf course. We went to the beach every day. And to imagine that you are only a few minutes from many great places to eat! The first night we got there, my wife, mother and I walked to the beach. It was a full moon and we had the beach to ourselves. It was awesome! The water reflected the moonlight like a strobe light. The dunes looked like snow banks. The air was clear and could see for miles. And the warm breeze off the Gulf was so refreshing. How great was our time? I was already planning a return to Topsail for next Spring even before we went home. My brother is even considering pulling his RV from NY state for that week. We picked out several campsites and plan to reserve them next November."

Greg Cross - Lebanon, TN - We stayed at Topsail in May, 2005 for seven days. We loved the park, and the staff was extremely friendly and attentive to any needs. The shuttle to the beach was very nice, and when walking, it was refreshing. The beach was very clean and the guests friendly. We definitely plan to make this one of our regular destinations.

This is our first stay at Topsail and it was without unfortunate event events, the park staff made it a wonderful vacation. Our RV a/c went out & couldn’t be repaired right away. Instead of cancelling our vacation Joan found us this cabin available for two nights. This is a great park for bike ridding, jogging, sunbathing cooking out, & relaxing. We will be back!

A great place to get away. Peaceful & quiet just what’s called for on a vacation Quite a bit of rain early in our week here but that didn’t damper our spirits. Have stayed in several state park cabins and these by far are #1 we will be back!!!

We were in the cabin last year and we are back again. This is Paradise! We love this place and wish we could live here. We have been coming here for 25 yearsand it holds a lot of wonderful memories. We really appreciate the great staff here and especially Jay Tenore. She is helpful and I hope that she will be here for a long time. Thanks Jay for the hard work that you do to keep these cabins clean. Jack and I will be back next year good lord willing and the creeks don’t rise.

Betty Patrick - , - Our first trip was in the summer of 2005. We stayed a week and wished we could stay longer. We had a great time and enjoyed the park. We have checked out the other parks and campgrounds in the area but Topsail is the best. We came back the summer of 2006 and brought my brother and his family. We all had a great time once again. My kids love camping at Topsail and would rather come here than to get a condo on the beach. We will be coming back for 2 weeks this summer and my brother and his family will be returning with us. Keep up the good work. My wife an I have decided that Topsail will be a summer tradition for us.

Lacy Smith - Jacksonville, AL - Topsail Hill is the most beautiful and well maintained State Park that we've ever visited. My two boys had plenty of activities to stay busy. It was the best Spring Break vacation for them. The staff was wonderful, the grounds are impeccable, and the location is stunning. Thanks for a great vacation, we'll be back every year.

Kragh Folland - Gulf Breeze, Florida - I visited Top Sail the last week of Feb 07 for the maiden voyage of my RV. I had a big rig - 42ft and had no problem bringing the coach up through the camp to our spot. Backing in was a breeze as there is adequate space all around the site.
My wife and I had a great time and really relaxed. The grounds were immaculate. No, not just clean, immaculate. This is definitely a very well maintained park. Even the pool grounds with loads of kids playing over a few days was not evident of any trash.
The best way to sum it up is that we are going back for Labor Day and would go back for July 4th if there was an opening. This is a park to keep on your A List.

Eli Sweet - Saint Cloud, Fl. - This is a wonderful site. I stayed in one of the cabins for a week and hated to go. The staff is great and the whole park is spotless. I will definately be going back next year.
James Hoy - Millington, TN - We visited the park the week of July 8th 2007. My family's only experience on the gulf is Destin and Panama City so we were expecting crowds and traffic. What a suprise to find the a clean & empty beach. Even during the "crowded" afternoon there was probably 200 people on a 2 mile stretch of beach. If you wanted to walk down the beach 1/4 mile you would be completely alone. Also, the campground was immaculate. Where else do you see people at a campground blowing leaves off the roads. This is an A+ facility in all areas. My recommendation for new visitors is to get a camping spot in 101-144. These spots are slightly larger and more secluded from your neighbors. Also there is less traffic for the kids to ride their bikes.
We definitely will return.

Kay Dyer - Tatum, Tx - We absolutely love topsail hill. We camped there for the first time renting a pop-up in 2002. We were hooked and just could not believe how beautiful everything is. So now we have our own pop -up and will be back in august for our 7th trip to topsail. We can't wait. The beach is so beautiful and secluded and makes me think of how florida should look without huge condos just sand dunes.... The campground is SPOTLESS and so pretty and landscaped. The paved sites are great and I just can't settle for camping in the dirt ever again after topsail. The tram is great and it is an easy way to get to the beach with all the umbrellas and icechest and beach chairs,ect. But bike riding down the paved path is so much fun too!!! It is the most amazing place for a florida vacation and I have been vacationing in Florida for about 20 years now and there is no better place by far!!! It is a little peice of heaven on earth. I have to pinch myself the whole time I am at topsail to know that I am not dreaming and it is real!!!!
Anita Fennell - , - We enjoyed this park so much we did not ever want to leave! I recommend it to everyone. The staff here is friendly and extremely helpful. The beach is the prettiest I have ever seen! There are so many activities for the kids to do inside the park that I did not even want to venture out, but when we did, we could not wait to get back! I would love to come back every year! One week was just not long enough!
