Annual Pass Information

A Florida State Parks Annual Pass allows frequent visitors to enjoy parks for pennies a day. Annual Passes can be purchased a variety of ways and are available for individuals or families.

ABOUT ANNUAL PASSES RETURN TO TOP


  • Annual Entrance Passes allow park entrance in lieu of the daily entrance fee.
  • Annual Entrance Passes are honored at all state parks, except for Skyway Fishing Pier State Park, where they are valid for a 33 percent discount.
  • The Individual Annual Entrance Pass is valid for the named cardholder only, additional persons accompanying an Individual Annual Entrance Pass holder are $2.00 per person admission except at except at Ellie Schiller Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park and Weeki Wachee Springs State Park where the standard admission fee will apply.
  • The Family Annual Entrance Pass is valid for up to eight people in a group, except at Ellie Schiller Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park and Weeki Wachee Springs State Park where the family pass is good for admission of up to two people. Additional guests to Ellie Schiller Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park and Weeki Wachee Springs State Park may wish to purchase additional passes or pay the daily admission fees.
  • Entrance passes do not waive other special use fees charged at some parks for special events, camping or activities such as boat tours, tubing, fishing piers, gardens admission, etc.
  • Additional local fees may apply (example: Monroe County Surcharge).
  • An Annual Entrance Pass is valid for one year from the month of purchase.

DISCOUNTS ON ENTRANCE PASSES RETURN TO TOP


Discounts on the purchase of Annual Entrance Passes are available to those who currently serve or have served in the United States Armed Forces. Free Lifetime Military Entrance Passes work the same as the Family Annual Entrance Pass and are available to: veterans with service-related disabilities, surviving spouses and parents of members of the U.S. military who have fallen in combat and law enforcement officers and firefighters who have died in the line of duty.

The Florida Park Service provides the following discounts on the purchase of Annual Entrance Passes to persons who present satisfactory written documentation which demonstrates their eligibility:

  • 25% discount on Annual Entrance Passes for active duty and honorably discharged veterans of the United States Armed Forces, National Guard or reserve units of the U.S. Armed Forces or National Guard.

    Proof of identification, military status, and honorable discharge (for retired military and veterans) are required. Satisfactory written documentation to prove eligibility includes:

    • Current military identification card showing the bearer as active duty, reserve, or retired member of a branch of the U.S. Armed Forces, or
    • Personal identification (i.e.: driver license, etc.) and
    • Most recent DD Form 214, Certificate of Release or Discharge from Active Duty, showing the named individual's Character of Service as Honorable, or
    • Other current official documentation from the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, Department of Veterans Affairs or an appropriate branch of one of those agencies, naming the bearer as active duty, reserve, veteran, or retired member of the U.S. Armed Forces.
    • Florida Department of Motor Vehicles driver license or identification card with a capital "V" designation printed on the card indicating the bearer is a veteran.
    • Spouses of deployed or active military should provide current military identification showing the bearer as a dependant of an active member of the US Armed Forces, and the most recend DD Form 214, Certificate of Release or Discharge from Active Duty, showing their spouse's current deployment or a copy of their spouses deployment orders.
  • Free Lifetime Military Entrance Passes for honorably discharged United States veterans who have service-connected disabilities.

    Proof of identification, service-connected disability, honorable discharge and veteran or retired military status are required. Satisfactory written documentation to prove eligibility includes:

    • Personal identification (i.e.: driver license) and
    • Current official documentation from the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, Department of Veterans Affairs or an appropriate branch of one of those agencies, naming the bearer as having sustained a service-related disability, and
    • Most recent DD Form 214, Certificate of Release or Discharge from Active Duty, showing the named individual's Character of Service as Honorable, or
    • Other current official documentation from the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, Department of Veterans Affairs or an appropriate branch of one of those agencies, naming the bearer as veteran, or retired military, or
    • Florida Department of Motor Vehicles driver license or identification card with a capital "V" designation printed on the card indicating the bearer is a veteran.

  • *Lifetime Military Entrance Pass holders are required to obtain a replacement pass upon expiration of their current pass. Lifetime Military Entrance Passes may have an expiration date of up to five years from the date of issuance. Satisfactory written documentation to prove eligibility for a replacement Lifetime Military Entrance Pass includes the existing Lifetime Military Entrance Pass and personal identification (i.e.: driver license, etc.).

  • Free Lifetime Military Entrance Passes for surviving spouses and parents of deceased members of the United States Armed Forces, National Guard or reserve units of the U.S. Armed Forces or National Guard who have fallen in combat.


    Proof of spouse or child having fallen in combat and proof of spousal or parental relationship are required. Satisfactory written documentation to prove eligibility includes:

    • Personal identification (i.e.: driver license) and
    • The DD Form 1300, Report of Casualty, showing the Place of Casualty was a combat or war zone on the Date of Casualty, the Circumstances indicate that the casualty was due to enemy action and the Interested Person/Remarks indicates the bearer is the spouse or parent of the military member who has fallen in combat, or
    • The final DD Form 214, Certificate of Release or Discharge from Active Duty, showing the date of death as the same date as the date of separation, or
    • The DD Form 2064, Certificate of Death (Overseas), indicating the bearer is the surviving spouse or a parent of the military member who has fallen in combat, or
    • Other current official documentation from the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, Department of Veterans Affairs or an appropriate branch of one of those agencies, naming the bearer as veteran, or retired military, and
    • A marriage certificate or license, birth or death certificate, or adoption papers showing the bearer as the spouse or parent of the military member who has fallen in combat.

  • *Lifetime Military Entrance Pass holders are required to obtain a replacement pass upon expiration of their current pass. Lifetime Military Entrance Passes may have an expiration date of up to five years from the date of issuance. Satisfactory written documentation to prove eligibility for a replacement Lifetime Military Entrance Pass includes the existing Lifetime Military Entrance Pass and personal identification (i.e.: driver license, etc.).

  • Free Lifetime Entrance Passes for surviving spouse and parents of Florida law enforcement officers and Florida firefighters who have died in the line of duty.


    Proof that spouse or child was a Florida law enforcement officer or Florida firefighter who died in the line of duty and proof of spousal or parental relationship are required. Satisfactory written documentation to prove eligibility includes:

    • Personal identification (i.e.: driver license, etc.) and
    • Official documentation identifying the bearer as the spouse or parent of the law enforcement officer or firefighter who has died in the line of duty. Examples include but are not limited to: a marriage certificate; birth or death certificate or adoption papers; official documentation from a government agency; or official documentation from a police or firefighter professional organization, and
    • Official documentation indicating the Florida law enforcement officer or Florida firefighter died in the line of duty. Examples include but are not limited to: official documentation from a government agency or official documentation from a police or firefighter professional organization.

  • *Lifetime Military Entrance Pass holders are required to obtain a replacement pass upon expiration of their current pass. Lifetime Military Entrance Passes may have an expiration date of up to five years from the date of issuance. Satisfactory written documentation to prove eligibility for a replacement Lifetime Military Entrance Pass includes the existing Lifetime Military Entrance Pass and personal identification (i.e.: driver license, etc.).

HOW TO BUY AN ANNUAL ENTRANCE PASS RETURN TO TOP


  • Purchase at a Park - Annual Passes can be purchased at all park ranger stations and museums. If you require immediate use of your pass, this is the best option. Passes can be purchased during regular business hours 365 days a year. Please call the park in advance to ensure availability. Those who are eligible for the Military Discount or Free Lifetime Military Entrance Passes may use this method to receive their pass.
  • Purchase Online - Entrance passes may be purchased online using a credit or debit card. Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover are all accepted. Please allow 3-4 weeks for delivery. The online confirmation page cannot be used as a means of entry to a park. Please keep the confirmation page for your financial records and to provide proof-of-purchase in the case of a lost pass. Those who are eligible for the Military Discount or Free Lifetime Military Entrance Passes may NOT use this method to receive their pass.
  • Purchase by Mail or Fax - Annual Passes may be purchased with a check, money order or credit card by mail. Passes may be purchased with a check or credit card by fax. Please allow 3-4 weeks for delivery. Those who are eligible for the Military Discount or Free Annual Entrance Passes may purchase their Annual Pass using this method.
