NATIONAL PUBLIC LANDS DAY
Date: September 27, 9:00 AM - Noon
Description: Each year thousands of volunteers in every state put their hands to work on National Public Lands Day. Volunteers work in parks and forests, at rivers, lakes, and wetlands, at cultural and historic sites and in their own neighborhoods. It is the largest single-day volunteer event on public lands during the year.
This year, The Barnacle is a host site for one of these programs. Join us on Saturday, September 27 for an exotic plant removal party in the tropical hardwood hammock at the park and a good old coastal cleanup along our shoreline. This is a coast-to-coast effort to improve and enhance our treasured lands. Be a part of something big. Call (305) 442-6866 to sign up to make a difference.
