Testimonials for St. Andrews State Park
- "We really enjoyed St. Andrews State Park. It is secluded and our area had lots of shade. You do not realize that you are only a couple of minutes from the busy part of PC Beach. Our site (147) was spacious and was only 30 or 40 feet from the water. Some of the sites are actually just a few feet from the water. There is ample fishing areas, great beach area, some protected by rock walls, and plenty of pavillions to eat under. The bathrooms were clean, although in our area we only had one bath house since they are remodeling the other one."

Wayne Redden - Cairo, GA - "I love the park and the Jetty side is great for families with young children. The water is so clear and everything was just perfect. I grew up in Panama City and going to the park was always a treat! It was great to visit and see a view without condos!"

Janet Lewis - Burlington, NC - This is one of the best parks in Florida. The Park staff is very friendly and helpful. If you have never been there I suggest you visit soon. Trust me, you won't regret it!
Katie R. - Panama City, Florida - This is a really great state park! All the facilities are kept clean. The show/bath houses in the campground area are air conditioned. Campsites have really nice vegatation around them so you have some privacy. The beaches are great with great shelling. Also really nice fishing piers. At dusk you can see deer in the park. Park also has a nice sheltered bay side cove that small kids can very safely snorkel in. My 7 year old daughter actually caught a live seahorsewith her play net. We come back here almost every year for a weeks camping trip. Absolutely no complaints.
Brenda W. - Houston, TX - The park is a wonderful place for taking photos of nature. Capturing a Great Blue Heron or Snowy Egret close up is a real treat. You don't have to have a large telephoto or zoom lens to get those close up shots. You can photograph the gators as well all though a little bit harder to get a picture of. Not to mention extreme caution of gators is always a must. Knowledge of gators and learning the times best to get their pictures is a plus. The staff was very helpful to me in my early days of visiting and trying to capture the shots. Now I go as often as I can and shoot several shots when I go. Recommend if you love to take pictures to grab the camera and spend the day enjoying the beauty and nature of St. Andrews Park.
Terry Berry - Panama City Beach, Florida - There is no campground like St. Andrews State Park.
The idea of a perfect vacation to me and my family is there. We drive every year for 2 days to get to St Andrews. We have gone to different state parks during our 2 week vacation to see if we like another park better, and we keep returning to St Andrews, because it is absolutly the best. You can enjoy the beach, or the lagoon, or just relax in your camp site!
To our family, being there is like a little piece of heaven on earth. My children are able to snorkel in the safe area of the jetty, and if they want to play in the waves they go to the "Big Beach", that is what my 3 year old calls the ocean. There is no better place in the United States to vacation and relax.
Yazmin Fernandez - Berrien Springs, Michigan - Just wanted to let you know that this is the park to go, we just apend 5 days there and it was fantastic.
The camp is clean and well taken care off, our site was by the waterfront and it was peaceful and quiet.
We had a wonderful time (honeymoon) and we will be back for sure.
Steven and Lucy Kakalecik - Warner Robins, GA - This park is EXCELLENT! The campsites are clean and neat. Didn't have a problem staking the tent. The bathrooms are clean. The park is quiet and beautiful! Short drive or bike ride and you are at the beach. We have been to a few other parks and if you want a nice beach getaway, St. Andrews is the only place to go!
Christine Terrio - Hammond, LA - my family and I just returned from our 2 week long stay at your park and absolutely loved it.Our campsite no 2 was clean and newly covered with cravel. The staff at St Andrews were friendly and very helpful.I would like to mention that our camp host retired captain Kennith Williams really went out of his way to help with the safe anchoring af my boat and keeping a watchfull eye for bad weather situations.Having Captain Wiliams around helping visitors with their first time RV troubles and boats really helped to turn our vissit into one pleasnt experience at the park.
Needless to say that the beautiful surroundings and clear water makes fun in the sun in Panama City easy.
marius du toit - destin, florida - This park is a true national treasure. My family and i didnt stay there, but visited the park every day while on our PCB vacation. Fishing was great on the bay side (many dolphin sightings)and the jetty side, your kids will never forget. If you want to see what a real Florida beach is like, without all condos and crowds, this is it.
John Brenner - VANDALIA, OHIO - We camped at St. Andrew in April 2008. We absolutely loved the park. We rode our bikes to the beach each night, to Gator Lake to watch the gators swim around and all around the park. There are lots of deer to watch. The camping area is great, although our site was not the greatest (no shade at all and to much light at night from the streetlight behind us), we will return and just make sure we get a different camping site, hopefully on the water. It's a great place to camp and the beach is beautiful with a great swim area. All the hiking trails were very nice and we enjoyed hiking through them. I'm looking forward to returning one day.
Vicki Jordan - Crestview, FL - This was the BEST vacation our family has ever had!!! Our campsite was clean (although the grass needed cut). The sites are really close together but everyone was respectful and quiet at night. The bathrooms were fairly clean and the last two bathrooms had washers and dryers. We had a blast swimming, looking for crabs and shells, biking and fishing. The most fun of all was renting the pontoon boat and going to Shell Island. We all snorkeled for the very first time and had so much fun. We will be back!
Arthur and Susan Odom - Atmore , AL - Just returned to KY from Panama City FL......St. Andrews State Park is the best kept secret in the area. We have been coming to PC Beach for years and hadn't visited the park until this year. Future visits to the area will positively include St. Andrews State Park. Absolutely loved by our family, made our trip the best!
Jennifer Lankford - Tompkinsville, KY - St.Andrews Park offered our family a wonderful day at the beach. We packed a picnic and spent the afternoon snorkeling in the lagoon. This has to be one of the finest state parks we have ever visited. If your planning a weekend getaway or a long vacation to PCB this is a must see for everyone.
Pamela Keith - Blue Ridge, Ga - St. Andrews state park is amazing!
We go to FLA. a couple of times a year and we always make it a priority to visit!
This was however our first time camping there and all I can say is WOW! The staff was super friendly (as usual) and the wildlife was abundant. And there's just no way of truly describing the awesome beauty of God's emarld waters and white sand. If you go anywhere in FLA, make it St. Andrews State Park!
Carl Malcom - Waco, GA - Ever since I was a little girl my father use to take me camping at St. Andrews state park and still to this day it hasn't changed very much. The beaches are white the fishing is always good and the wildlife is abundant. I love that now me and my fiance' have made it a family tradition to camp at the park every year before thanksgiving! It's really a great place to go in the summer, winter, spring, or fall! So grab the kids, pets, and parents pack the tent and I'll see you there!!
Connie Kwiatkowski - tallahassee, florida - We just got home from St. Andrews and miss it already. It was the best vacation ever. The Jetty is so wonderful, schools of fish going by, anyone can snorkel and the water is so clean and clear, the sand is so white. Our campsite was large, and had a clothes line, water and electricity. They are close to the restrooms, which were clean. We got to see Alligators at the Alligator pond. They have a little store by the beach to buy what ever you may need and one on the way to your campsites just in case somthing was left at home. My kids could ride their bikes around the park, no hills. It was shaded and just a great little place to visit. We are deffinetly comeing back again. Thank you to the staff who kept St. Andrews such a nice place.
