We stayed at Silver River State Park March of this year. we were there for five days and left for five then came back as we really loved it there. the park is so clean , away from the highway, and the RV sites are really big. I loved visiting the little cracker village and got some nice pictures there. hope to stay again in December of this year. Wonderful park !!!! friendly rangers !!!

We stayed in one of your beautiful cabins and I can't say enough of how nice they are. I sure miss having my morning cup of coffee sitting on the front porch on the rocking chair just as the morning light was trying to find its' way in thru the overgrown trees. So tranquil. I can't wait to come back!

ANDY SILAS - LAKELAND, - Just got back from our first weekend at Silver Springs Park. We have already booked another one! This is a beautiful park. My wife and I are a few years away from retiring, but going off for the weekends in our motorhome relieves a lot of stress. Now we have found a beautiful park within an hour of our home!! We had passed this park entrance many times and FINALLY decided to check into it. WOW! I am so glad we did!
Roger Osborne - Inverness, Fl - We just returned (September 2007) from our first weekend at Silver River State Park to celebrate my daughter's 9th birthday. As we were driving to our cabin we spotted a family of deer. They were still there about an hour later when we went for our first evening walk. The Ranger staff was very friendly and the cabins were incredible. We spent the better part of one day up at Juniper Springs in the Ocala National Forest (two thumbs up from our daughter) and later on explored the Museum (very nicely done) & Cracker Village. On Sunday we had time for the Swamp Trail before check-out. My daughter has already requested a return visit for her 10th birthday, I hope we can find the time to come back before then. Thanks for the great time and fabulous cabin!
Amy Haile - Tampa, FL - Stayed for a week over Christmas 2007. Just a wonderful park with a pleasant staff. Excellent power and water availabity. Clean, roomy sites. We will definately be back.
Jeff Sibberson - Curtice, Ohio - Our trip to Silver River has been one of our best yet. The park was clean, easily accessed, and wonderful trails and then to top it off a museum and cracker village. We are planning now to make a return trip. What a wonderful place to stay.
June Slay - Center Hill, FL - we have camped there every year since park opened.We love this campground.Sites are large and private.
Wish there was swimming espically when its hot,also was happy to see they finally were able to rent canoes but was disappointed that there was no shuttle service from where you pay to were canoe launch is, this is a long hike for most people..also portable bathrooms at canoe launch would also be nice..
We'd love to see more nature programs offered to campers..Movie nights ect..Like up north state park campgrounds offer
But we love campground look forward to camping there with our family of 4..

Becky Shaw - Weirsdale, Fl - We stay at several Florida State Parks throughout the year. This has to be one of the BEST we have ever stayed at.
These sites are large and private. The facilities are well designed, easy accessible and EXTREMELY clean.
If you are into the "REAL" Florida, this is a must stay at park. The trails were adventurous and the wildlife was exciting to watch.
We can't wait to stay here again!
