Special Events for Ponce de Leon Springs State Park

• PICNIC IN THE PARK
  Date: Saturday, Sept 6th from 10:00am to 2:00pm
  Description: The Department of Environmental Protection’s Ponce de Leon Springs State Park along with the Holmes County Sheriff's Department and the Holmes County School System, will be sponsoring the 12th annual Picnic in the Park. As a way of saying 'Thank you' to all visitors, free lunch will be served to everyone. There will also be games for kids and fun for all.

• LITERACY MONTH AT PONCE DE LEON SPRINGS STATE PARK
  Date: Sunday, Sept 7th thru Saturday, Sept 13th from 8:00am to closing.
  Description: The Department of Environmental Protection’s Ponce De Leon Springs State Park in conjuction with the Holmes County Public Library will be promoting the importance of reading. The park will be installing colorful displays promoting the wonders and beauty of Ponce De Leon Springs State Park and reading at the library. Park staff will also be participating in an after school reading progam with details to be announced
  Fees: Free park admission with the presentaion of a library book or card or the donation of a book. The books will be given to the library.
