Manatee Springs State Park
Camping is a popular activity at our park, and gives the visitor the chance to explore all the beauty that abounds at Manatee Springs State Park.
We have three camp loops, all offering sites of varying sizes up to 40'. We also have sites specifically designed to accommodate people with accessibility needs.
At each of our campsites there is water, electric, a fire ring with grill, and a picnic table. To make your stay more comfortable, we also provide two posts for clothesline use and lantern hangers.
Canoe in the calm, clear waters of our spring run that meanders out to the historic Suwannee River. Great way to view wading birds such as the Snowy Egret and the Great Blue Heron.
Under the shade of oak and cypress trees, relax in peace and tranquility. Pileated Woodpecker and King Fisher can often be seen among the tree branches that canopy the spring and spring run.
Accompanied by an adult, kids can play on our playground equipped with swings, slides and even a peek-a-boo tunnel.
The Manatee Spring produces an average of 100 million gallons of water a day. Great place to snorkel and swim in the constant seventy-two degree waters.
Access to the river is easy with our boat dock located at the end of boardwalk. Also a great place to fish. You could expect to catch bass, catfish, bream, and mullet.
Under the canopy of Cypress and Tupelo trees, walk along the spring run out to the Suwannee River. Overlooks provide great spots to view turtles sunning, mullet jumping, and the Florida Manatee.
