Michelle Waterman, Park Manager
Whether you’re an avid angler like me or new to the sport, this mile-long fishing bridge spanning the Nassau Sound offers unbeaten opportunities to hook into whiting, sea trout, flounder, redfish and so much more. Autumn means smaller mullet bait fish are running in the creeks and rivers, which attracts larger fish to the area.
Named for State Rep. George Crady in 2003, a strong supporter of Florida State Parks, this park offers stunning views of salt marsh and shoreline plus year-round access to some of the best fishing grounds in Florida. Bring your gear, bait, shade, chair and snacks, and enjoy the thrill of landing the big one. The world’s record flounder was caught here in 1983, weighing in at 20 pounds, 9.4 ounces. Stop by On-the-Line Bait and Tackle for fishing supplies or snacks while you’re here.
We hope that you and your family can take advantage of the restorative nature that our park offers over the Nassau Sound. Whether it's for fishing, cycling, photography or sunset viewing, we’re happy to see you here.
