A beautiful park near Cape Haze, Don Pedro Island State Park is separated into two sections, the land base and the island.
The land base is a great place to walk the trails or launch a kayak or paddleboard and explore nearby waterways.
The park concession, Hooked on SUPS, has kayaks and stand-up paddleboards for rent to help you get out on the water.
The island section boasts a large pavilion and two miles of beach accessible by private boat or by contacting Captiva Cruises at 239-472-5300. Captiva Cruises is the official concessionaire of the park and offers a wide variety of recreational opportunities.
Come out for a day of boating, beach combing or just relax in the sunshine. You just might discover something new about the Real Florida and make some memories!
