Chris Hawthorne, Park Manager

Welcome to Topsail Hill Preserve State Park. Our diverse park is the perfect place to experience ...the Real Florida.

We have 3.2 miles of pristine beaches surrounded by towering dunes, three coastal dune lakes and 15 miles of trails throughout the 1,600-acre preserve. The trails allow visitors to meander through old-growth pine forests, coastal dunes, wetlands and scrublands.

In addition to the beautiful resources, we also have camping for everyone, including 156 RV sites, 16 bungalows, 16 cabins and 22 tent sites. The park is truly the perfect destination for those who need to unwind and reset.

Calling all friends and family!

I would like to invite everyone to the park’s newest addition, Kith & Kin Café. It’s a cozy gourmet coffee shop open daily from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for park visitors as well as locals. Guests can enjoy a locally sourced cup of coffee, gourmet sandwiches and pastries, tea and smoothies. In the future, the café will host live music and offer wine and beer. It is a warm, inviting space that is sure to be a highlight of your park visit!

Volunteers are always welcomed and greatly appreciated!

The park offers several volunteer opportunities. If you would like to help keep the park beautiful, trails maintained or help in any other way, please contact us at 850-267-8332. We have a number of positions available and training is provided.

One of those opportunities is to join the Friends of Topsail, a dedicated group of volunteers who serve as the park’s nonprofit citizen support organization. They assist the park with programs, special events and fundraising. They are an extremely important part of the park, and we would love to have new members who share the same passion and love for Topsail! You can see their good work by following them on Facebook, Instagram or at their website.

Thank you for your interest in Topsail Hill Preserve State Park. We hope to see you and your family in the park soon!
