The Crappies have started biting along the old river channel; visit the lake for a chance at this great catch. If fishing is not your style, take a leisurely stroll along the trail to experience the wildlife nature provides such as birds, deer, and squirrels. When your stroll down the trail is over enjoy your lunch in our picnic area that is located at the park.

Lake Talquin State Park is located 15 miles west of Tallahassee on State Road 20 on Jack Vause Landing Road.
