Shell Island Shuttle

Ride the official Shell Island Ferry to Shell Island for hours of fun. Shell Island can only be accessed by boat. This ferry is the easiest, safest, quickest way to the island. See more information and make your reservations today. Tram ride to the marina starts at the Pier Store.

Retail

The park’s concessionaire offers three places to find the perfect souvenir, equipment rentals and tickets for the Shell Island Shuttle.

  • The Camp Store (open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.) offers bait and tackle, ice, camping supplies, firewood and more. This is where you rent golf carts, bicycles, pontoon boats and kayaks.
  • The Jetty Store (open 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.) connects you to the beach and the inlet lagoon. Stop here for food, snacks, drinks, beach chairs and umbrellas, paddle boards and more.
  • The Pier Store (open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.) offers sweets, treats and souvenirs. This is where you take the bus to the ferry for a ride to the marina when going on the official Shell Island Shuttle.

Food and beverages

A food truck serves hot food, cold sandwiches and cold beverages at the Jetty Store. Look for burgers, grilled chicken, pulled pork and a variety of other foods plus kid’s meals. Beverages include sodas, teas, coffee and bottled beer and cocktails. See the full menu.
