John is a native Floridian who has lived in Pinellas County most of his life, except for 13 years in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
He retired close to Caladesi Island in nearby Indian Rocks Beach.
John has been volunteering at Caladesi Island State Park since 2011. You will find him working on electrical issues, trail maintenance and landscaping.
In his free time, John enjoys boating, fishing for grouper, playing softball, working on puzzles, reading, and playing guitar.
John volunteers on Mondays and is a true asset to Caladesi Island State Park. If you enjoy the Real Florida, he encourages you to get outside and volunteer at a Florida State Park near you.
