Ichetucknee Springs State Park Volunteer Information


Volunteers can do many things -- greet visitors, conduct tours, help rangers remove exotic plants or maintain the natural beauty of a beach, waterway or trail. Friends of the Ichetucknee Springs State Park, Inc., is a citizens' support organization (CSO), whose role is one of advocacy for historical, educational, and ecological enhancement of Ichetucknee Springs State Park. Dear Friends,
The fragile ecosystem of the Ichetucknee River is being threatened by waterlettuce. We need your help! Please sign up now for one of our cleanups and help get this pesky plant under control.

Waterlettuce removal takes place on Saturday's from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Please see the schedule below for waterlettuce removal days. We hope to see you there!
