Winter is a great time to bring your family and friends out for a day at the beach, picnic along the Intracoastal Waterway, hike, bicycle and canoe at the park. Many of our visitors enjoy bringing their dogs out for a walk and some exercise in the fresh air.
Guided Segway tours, kayak, bike, and skate rentals are available through the park's concession, M.Cruz Rentals. If you are interested in volunteering at Hugh Taylor Birch State Park, or becoming part of our citizen support organization, the Friends of Birch State Park, Inc., or have any questions, please call the Ranger Station at (954) 564-4521.
