Special Events for Honeymoon Island State Park

• 29TH ANNUAL MIDNIGHT RUN
  Date: July 3rd & 4th, 2008 – 29th
  Description: Join us for the 29th Annual Kiwanis Morton Plant Mease Midnight Run. Join walkers and runners of all ages for the 29th Annual Midnight Run on July 3rd and 4th, 2008! The One Mile Run/Walk will begin at 11:00pm on July 3rd with the 5K run following at 11:25pm and wrapping the night up with the 10K at 12:15am on July 4th. The 10K runs along the Dunedin Causeway and continues into Honeymoon Island State Park where the path is lighted with luminaries. Registration fees range from $8.00 to $40.00 and can be paid in advance by online registration available through www.active.com however pre-registered applicants will be eligible for prize drawings. Commemorative plaques will be awarded after each race to overall male and female winners in the 10K and 5K races, the top five male and female finishers in each age division, and the top five male and female finishers in the One Mile.
