Friends Groups
Friends groups, also referred to as Citizen Support Organizations (CSO), provide support to individual parks by volunteering, educating visitors, hosting events and raising funds for specific park projects. There are currently more than 80 friends groups supporting state parks throughout Florida. These groups and the citizens that pledge their time to them play a vital role supporting Florida's state parks, ensuring that our natural, cultural and historical resources are protected for future generations.
