Crested Coralroot. This pale, pink orchid gets its food from dead root and fungi in the ground. Crested coralroot is endangered in Florida.
Red Buckeye. Shrub or understory tree of the southeastern woodlands and floodplains, producing a beautiful dark red flower in the spring.
