• What a wonderful State Park! We left the misery of a nearby PRIVATE campground and found the heaven that we were searching for at the Florida Caverns State Park. The park personnel were extremely nice and helpful and hospitable. There was so much to do inside of the park. The facilities were also extremely clean and comfortable.

• Florida Caverns is a great park. There are numerous trails to ride or walk. The bathrooms are clean and spacious. The campsites are shaded and have a firering and table. There are places to fish and swim, although the drought has put a dent in the fishing and swimming near the campground. The staff is very helpful and a park ranger came back pretty often. I would recommend this park to anyone and I will visit again. The only recommendation I could make is there needs to be more "toddler" swings.

• My family enjoyed the time we spent at the Caverns. The campsites were great, and so were the staff members. My kids had as much fun in the caverns and on the trails as they would in any theme park. A great time for a family on a budget.

• We recently visited the Florida Caverns, which I have longed to see ever since I heard a cave existed here in Florida. The tour guide, a volunteer named Dana, led our tour, which included a group of high school students on a field trip. The caverns aren't grand in the sense of hugeness, but each chamber is lavishly decorated in stunning limestone formations of fantastic variety. The CCC long ago made the cave a safe and easy place to tour while also protecting the limestone formations. I'm sure all the tour guides are as knowledgable and interesting as our Dana, who even kept the students' attention. Thanks. WW

• My wife and I went on a spur of the moment road trip to Tallahassee last weekend. We stopped at the caverns and had a wonderful time. It was a refreshing, educational get a way for us both. The staff were all very friendly and my wife and I can hardly wait to go back.

• To Whom it May Concern, A few years ago I got the wonderful opportunity to see the Christmas lights/decorations at the Florida Caverns in Marianna, FL. I was going to UWF at the time in the Education program and I had a project to do. I remember this very sweet staff member, Kelly Banta..could never forget her. She took me for a tour so I could take some photos for a Social Studies project which I made an A...my professor was captivated both by all the information I got by the aid of Ms. Banta and also the opportunity to shoot some great shots...she now uses my powerpoint presentation for future classes. • I visited the wonderful caverns in April 2008 with my 7 year old grandson, Trevor, and his mom. While we were taking the tour of the caverns he commented that it was "just like Disney World, but only better." An amazing discription from a 7 year old in my book.
