Greetings!

Citizens play a vital role supporting Florida's state parks ensuring that our natural, cultural and historical resources are protected for future generations. An opportunity for citizens to join forces exists through the development of a Citizen Support Organization (CSO). There are currently more than 80 friends groups supporting state parks throughout Florida. These groups provide support by volunteering, educating visitors, hosting events and raising funds for specific park projects.

Our award winning state park system has been recognized nationally as a leader due to the tremendous support from our citizen groups. We invite you to join with us as we continue to ensure our children and grandchildren will experience ...the Real Florida. A listing of current CSOs is provided here. If you don't see one in your area, please feel free to contact me and we will help you get a friends group to support your area state park.
