Special Events for Blackwater River State Park

READING ON THE RIVER
Date: Sept 13th from 10:00am to 11:00am
Description: The Department of Environmental Protection’s Blackwater River State Park willl be hosting a children’s book reading. Pack a picnic lunch, and bring the whole family and join a park ranger as they share a story about the animals that inhabit the park. The reading will take place at Pavilion #23 on the boardwalk complex. After the reading join the ranger on a short hike around the Juniper Lake Trail.
Fees: Admission to the park is free with your library card or the donation of a new or gently used, family appropriate book. These donations will go to charity to help promote literacy.
