BirdingBirders can observe many varieties of nesting and migrating birds at Bald Point. These include shorebirds along the beach, warblers in the maritime oak hammocks, wading birds, and birds of prey in and around the marsh areas. |

BoatingSituated on the Apalachee Bay and at the mouth of the Ochlockonee River, canoeing and kayaking are popular activities. A canoe and kayak launch ramp is available. |

Fishing
Surf fishing and wading out to oyster bars is a popular pastime. Among the varieties of saltwater fish found in the brackish tidal waterway are redfish, trout, flounder, and mackerel.

PicnickingClose to the beach are three covered pavilions with picnic tables and standing grills. Restrooms are nearby. |
