Myakka River State Park
About Myakka River State Park
A NOTE FROM THE MANAGER
Jon Robinson
Here's a note from January's River report:
Portaging was required in many places from Lower Lake to the Island, located near the first of the houses. There were a couple spots south of Downs’ Dam where we had to portage the canoe due to snags that were blocking the entire river channel.
