Testimonials for Anastasia State Park
- "This park is one of the jewels on the East Coast of Florida. The park as well as the campgrounds and facilities are impeccable. The beach and picnic areas are spectacular, and it is also very close to the Lighthouse and the city of Old St. Augustine. A trip worth making!"

Joyce Eastman - Orange City, FL - "This is a great park! the sites are big and private. We stayed in the Coquina area. This was our first time to the Atlantic beach and it was worth the 4 hour drive. As always the staff was great and helpful. The bathrooms were fine and cleaned often. The park is very near to the Historical sites and restaurants. We had no problems with wildlife bothering our food or bugs. I will visit Anastasia again!"

Jaime Lopez - Oldsmar, Florida - Went to Anastasia this past week for four days. Loved it! The park was quite and peaceful. The beach area was eye taking. From the main road of the park you can see the lighthouse. Took a ghost tour one night. The dogs had a great time also. Loved our site. A must go to park!
Kathy Brown - Mulberry, FL - I've never been much of a camper or a beach person. Although I visit St.Augustine often, I never realized what I was missing by not spending time in Anastasia State Park. With the new year upon me, I decided to expand my horizons and do some different things while in my favorite town. So I booked a campsite and spent 6 wonderful days in the park. And I've got to say that my visit was the best one I ever had in St.Augustine. Anastasia State Park is immaculately kept and all of the park personnel I encountered were very friendly and helpful. My campsite was beautiful and so was the beach. I enjoy riding my bicycle and there was plenty of room for that within the park and on the beach. Twice during my visit, I walked and/or rode my bike all the way to the north end of the beach where the Atlantic meets the Intercoastal Waterway. Everything about the park was SO relaxing. From the campgrounds, I could hear the distant sounds of the waves meeting the beach. I slept so well every night. The restrooms were always spotlessly clean and the warm showers felt great on cool winter evenings. I reluctantly had to leave when my six-night stay was over, but the first thing I did when I got home was to book my next visit. I cannot wait to go back. If you are planning to camp out or just wanting to see another beautiful side of St.Augustine, DO NOT MISS Anastasia State Park. It is truly an incredible place.

Gary Turnage - St.Petersburg, FL - What a refreshing place to stay. Can't say enough about the staff. If you are looking for a place to kick back and relax, sit at your camp site and listen to the waves crash onto the beach and lull you to sleep, this is it. The wife and I will most certainly be back. A real treasure waiting to be uncovered by you.

Teresa Brewster - West Springfield, Pa - We live in Orange Park only minutes from the beach in Jacksobville. But we always head for St. Augstine, Anastasia State Park. The staff are so frendly and very helpful. The restrooms when we camp are very clean as well as the park it self. My wife will only visit this park and no other place because of the staff and cleanlyness. We go to this park as often as work lets us, and we have never have had a bad experience with the park. If you have not been you are missing out.
Lyle Fuentes - Orange Park, Florida - We have camped 4 nights in Sept 04 and 7 nights in Oct 05 and plan to return in Nov 07 for a 2 week stay. 4 miles of protected beach, sand dunes, salt marsh. great sunrises over the Atlantic. St. Augustine has several interesting features and much history. Convenient shopping nearby. campsites large, many are private, showers and restrooms are modern and CLEAN. Bicycle friendly park. Island Joe's on the beach has great sandwiches and camp store with bike/kayak rentals. Seafood Kitchen is a great inexpensive restaurant on the island. camp in a tent for a cheap vacation that is paradise to someone from Ohio
Steve Morton - Chillicothe, Oh - Thoroughly enjoyed our 10 night stay in June 2007. The park is convenient to everything including the Old City part of St. Augustine. The park is very clean, and this especially includes the bath houses so extra kudos to the park employees who clean. The beach is second to none. The little taco stand at the entrance to the state park is so good it's addicting. When we return to St. Augustine we will definitely go back to the state park. Why stay anywhere else?
