Description
Crystal River Preserve State Park will be sponsoring the American Canoe Association with a KAYAK SAFETY 101 Course. Event attendees will spend a morning doing coursework learning about float plans, navigation, equipment, parts of a boat, lifejackets, and numerous other safety guidelines! The afternoon will be spent on the water in a kayak learning basic paddling strokes, how to get in and out of the kayak safely and most importantly - paddling! Come on out and join the fun and learn kayak safety and see the beautiful Crystal River! Kayaks, lifejackets, and paddles provided. *THIS EVENT IS SOLD OUT*
