Harvey Jenkins
Harvey has been volunteering his time with Crystal River state parks since 2008, giving over 5,000 hours of volunteer service. His skills and interests vary from plumbing and electrical, to maintenance and natural resource management. There is not a burn zone in this park that Harvey hasn’t has a hand in prepping for prescribed fire season.
Staff members compare Harvey to an employee: He knows what needs to be accomplished to support the park mission and he works to make a difference.
