Take a break from your busy everyday life and spend some time relaxing in nature at Lake Manatee State Park.

Located on the south shore of Lake Manatee are 60 amazing campsites waiting for you to enjoy. Each campsite is equipped with water and electric hookups, making it perfect for tents, trailers and RVs. In addition, each campsite has a grill, fire ring and table. The campground also has restroom and shower facilities for your convenience.

Although campsites are not located directly on the water, they are only a short walk to lake. During your stay feel free to participate in a variety of outdoor recreation. Lake Manatee is an exceptional spot to drop a line and do some freshwater fishing. Species of fish that are commonly caught are largemouth bass, catfish and bluegill. To simply take in the sights and sounds of the park, try exploring the lake via kayak or canoe. The 2,400 acres of Lake Manatee are perfect for drifting along quietly and appreciating the lush scenery which surrounds you.

Water activities aren’t the only thing that you can do at Lake Manatee State Park. In the interior part of the park there is a 2.5-mile paved road for bicycling. This path takes you through the pine flatwoods and along the shore of Lake Manatee. If you’d like to explore the park by foot, there are approximately 4.5 miles of trails that wind through the park, taking you through scenic woodlands where wildlife and native plants abound.

Whatever you choose, you are sure to enjoy your visit to Lake Manatee State Park.
